This series is a response to Lacoste and its landscape. Within each painting a window is opened through which the wall behind it can be seen. In this way, the works are site specific and focus on the emotional aspect of place. The viewer’s interaction and response will correspond to the overall psychological experience of the work.
Ana Gardiner lives in Georgia and is currently a student at Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Studying to recieve her B.F.A. (Bachlors in Fine Arts), Ana’s primary focus is Painting with a minor in Drawing. She is also a member of the Portrait Society of America.
